How to cancel your subscription
Cancellation runs entirely inside your account — there is no one you need to contact.
1. Sign in to LearnCastAI
Log in with your account and open the "Manage subscription" area. There you see your current plan and the date it is paid through.
2. Click "Cancel subscription"
Select "Cancel subscription" and confirm. There are no hidden intermediate steps — the cancellation is recorded right away.
3. Access winds down
Your plan stays usable until the end of the period you already paid for. After that you switch to the free version automatically — nothing more is charged.
What happens to your account and data
Cancel, pause, delete — three different things. Here is the difference.
Cancel is not delete
A cancellation only ends the payment. Your account and all created content remain — you simply keep using LearnCastAI for free afterwards.
No data loss
Your podcasts, audiobooks, summaries and flashcards stay saved in your account. Only the paid quotas go away.
Want to remove all data?
If you also want to erase all data, that is a separate step: full account deletion. Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account.
Cancelling your LearnCastAI subscription: everything you need to know
Cancelling a subscription at LearnCastAI is deliberately simple. You decide when it ends — there is no minimum-term trap and no forced support ticket. Cancellation happens right in your account under "Manage subscription" and is recorded immediately. Your access does not end abruptly, though: you keep your paid plan until the end of the current billing period, so you never lose time you have already paid for.
What happens to my content after cancelling?
Once the paid period ends, your account automatically switches to the free version of LearnCastAI. That means your existing podcasts, audiobooks, summaries, flashcards and exam simulations stay available. Only the paid quotas — such as longer narrations or a higher number of new podcasts per month — are no longer included. You can therefore keep using LearnCastAI indefinitely without paying anything.
Cancel or delete account — what is the difference?
Many people confuse "cancel subscription" with "delete account". A cancellation ends only the payment; your account and all content remain. Deleting your account, by contrast, removes your profile and all data permanently. If you want both — to stop paying and have all data removed — cancel the subscription first and then delete your account. An active subscription must be ended before deletion.
By law we are required to keep issued invoices for ten years, and they are pseudonymised if you later delete your account. As a consumer you may also have a right of withdrawal.
