These pitfalls catch many users

If the download doesn't work, it's almost always one of these three causes.

Can't find the download button

The "MP3 Download" button only appears in the header of the podcast detail page — not in the dashboard list. Searching the list will not show it.

First click the podcast in the list to open its detail view. The button is in the top right corner.

Podcast still generating

As long as the status reads "Processing", the audio file is not ready yet — the download is only available after completion.

Wait until the status switches to "Ready". Generation takes between 30 seconds and 5 minutes depending on length.

Free plan: publication delay

On the free plan, podcasts are released with a short delay. During the waiting period the download is blocked.

You can see the release time in the detail view. A paid plan unlocks downloads immediately.

Step-by-step guide

3 steps to your MP3 download

Go through these in order — after step 3, the MP3 file is on your device.

1

Sign in and open the dashboard

Log into learncastai.com with your credentials. You'll land directly in the dashboard with the list of your podcasts.

If you don't have an account yet, you can register for free and create your first podcast right away.

Tip: Enable "Stay signed in" in your browser to land in the dashboard on your next visit.
2

Open the finished podcast

Click the desired podcast title in the list. You'll reach the detail view with the player, script and actions.

Make sure the status reads "Ready". If it shows "Processing", you need to wait a moment until the audio file has been generated.

Note: The detail page only opens if you own the podcast. Shared podcasts have their own view.
3

Click "MP3 Download"

In the top right of the detail page you'll find the "MP3 Download" button. One click starts the download — the file lands in your default download folder.

The filename matches the podcast title as a slug, e.g. "my-learning-podcast.mp3". For children's podcasts, a confirmation dialog appears first asking you to confirm you are an adult.

Tip: On mobile, the browser saves to "Downloads". From there you can import it into any podcast app.

Upload problems LearnCastAI — fix errors when uploading files

You have your learning material ready, click upload — and nothing happens, or you receive an error message. Upload problems LearnCastAI are frustrating, but they are usually resolved within a few minutes. The most common causes for uploads that fail are well-known and well-documented. This guide walks you through the most common upload problems LearnCastAI users encounter and shows you how to fix them without technical support. This way you do not lose valuable learning time and can quickly start your AI podcast.

The most common upload errors and their solutions

The most common upload problems LearnCastAI encounters include: First, an unsupported file format — check that your document is in PDF, DOCX, or TXT format; other formats may not be processed. Second, a file that is too large — the maximum upload limit is currently 50 MB; larger files must be split. Third, a corrupted document — try re-generating the PDF or copying the text into a new Word document. Fourth, connection drops — especially on mobile connections; switch to a stable Wi-Fi and try again.

Preventive measures for smooth uploads

To avoid upload problems LearnCastAI encounters from the start, we recommend the following best practices: always save documents as PDF/A or PDF 1.4 for maximum compatibility. Remove password protection and usage rights from PDFs before uploading. Keep documents under 30 MB for fast and reliable uploads. Use a modern browser in the latest version. Disable browser extensions that may block upload dialogs, such as certain ad blockers or script blockers.

Should upload problems LearnCastAI causes persist despite all measures, our support team is ready to help. Describe the error, name the file format and your operating system — we help quickly and straightforwardly. Your goal is to learn, not to wrestle with technical hurdles.
